This equipment can measure luminance,
chromaticity and color temperature of Liquid Crystal Display
(LCD), Plasma Display Panel(PDP),Light Emitting Diode(LED),
Cathode Ray Tube(CRT), light fixtures, and all types of light
source.

- Compact, Lightweight, outstanding mobility
Compact, lightweight (approx.380g), easy to operate, cordless
with battery drive. Suitable for various measurements, including
subcontract delivery and inspection. Use of AC power is possible.
- Easy to operate, High Accuracy
The shading-type reduces the influence of the outside light on
the optical unit. Capable of measurement by bringing only the
optical unite close to the measured object without the need for
"contact"/"non-contact". No focus adjustment
required, visual check, big-sized tripod and large dark room.
- Decreased error associated with measuring range
This original technique decreases the error associated with the
large measurement capacity(0.10~99,990cd/m2)and the
small range for coping with not only LCD but also high-luminance
display.
- Memory of Measurement Values and Computation (Average, Minimum,
Maximum, Deflection)
Capable of storing up to 16 measurement values in the memory.
NL-1 is very effective for uneven brightness inspection and uneven
color inspection on display, because NL-1 has a memory capacity
for measurement values and computation functions.(Average, minimum,
maximum, deflection)
- Input Function of Coefficient for Light source Correction
It is possible to measure the accurate chromaticity, because 3
kinds of light-correcting coefficient(Light sources A, fluorescent
lamp of R.G.B., CRT) have already been entered. The use of this
function is useful to maintain quality at all stages, including
the manufacturing line and the development department. The unit
difference of plural units is kept at a minimum.
- High measurement accuracy
The use of five sensor leads to improved accuracy. These sensors
are used to correct the differences in spectral characteristics
and the color deflection so as to improve color matching. The
use of these sensor solves the problems of variations between
different measuring units, convertibility of measurement data,
and reproducibility of results.
- Accuracy Assurance for any Color Lighting
Accuracy is assured as follows;
- Light sources A~+- 0.002
Light sources A + Color filter ~ +- 0.01
Fluorescent R.G.B. lamp+ Color filter ~ +- 0.01
The Chromaticity accuracy is assured not only for light sources
A but also for fluorescent light soures for which it is difficult
to assure a high accuracy. Also the accuracy of LCD back-light
is ensured because of the use of a fluorescent R.G.B. lamp.
- Separation of the Optical and Measuring Units
Optical and measuring units can be separated with the use of an
extension cable. Reading of data is not influenced by differences
due to the field of view of the LCD. This function is very useful
for line-sensor installation.
- Input of Standard value and deflection display function
The deflection to standard color on 4 kinds of color system is
displayed. It is possible to measure color differences. Standard
colors can input a maximum of 8 data in units by key-input or
by using measurement values.
- Memory Function for User's calibration Standard values
The NL-1display value can be corrected by use's standard light
sources. Correction coefficients can be entered for up to 8 measurement
values or by key input. This function fully solves problems such
as differences associated in with the use of various measuring
units, the use of new type of unit and the use of several units.
- With Recorded-Output and BCD Serial-Output
It is possible to connect recorder-output to the recorder. It
is possible to change BCD serial output to RS-232C. It is possible
to transmit the data to a personal computer. This function is
very useful for trend control, auto-measuring, the statistics
and it is also possible to connect NL-1 in parallel to a maximum
of 15 units.
